TU Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science Invites Mini Research Proposals

Kathmandu, Kartik 20: The Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS), Office of the Dean, Directorate of Research and Publication, Kirtipur, Kathmandu, under Tribhuvan University (TU), has invited mini research proposals.

According to the notice dated 2083/07/20 and signed by Dr. Ram Kumar Shrestha, Director of Research and Publication, research proposals have been invited from teachers working at constituent campuses under the Institute for conducting mini research projects over the next one year.

Research proposals must be prepared in the prescribed format specified in the "Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science Mini Research Fund Mobilization Guidelines, 2083."

Campus-Wise Mini Research Project Grant Quotas

The Institute has allocated the following mini research project grant quotas to its constituent campuses:

• Lamjung Campus: 4 grants

• Rampur Campus: 2 grants

• Paklihawa Campus: 4 grants

• Gauradaha Agriculture Campus: 2 grants

Required Documents for Proposal Submission

Applicants must submit the following documents in a sealed envelope:

1. Application Letter: An application for the mini research project.

2. Personal Details: Personal information of the applicant.

3. Master's Level Transcript: One copy of the master's level academic transcript.

4. Full-Time Teaching Appointment: One copy of the final appointment document confirming full-time teaching employment at Tribhuvan University.

5. Recommendation Letter from the Concerned Campus: The recommendation letter must confirm that the applicant:

• Is not currently on study leave.

• Is not on another type of leave exceeding six months.

• Has at least one year of service remaining.

• Is not currently conducting any research project funded by the University Research Commission or the Tribhuvan University Central Office.

6. Mini Research Proposal:

• Must be prepared in the format prescribed by the "Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science Mini Research Fund Mobilization Guidelines, 2083."

• Two hard copies of the research proposal.

• One electronic copy in Word file format.

• Submission Deadline: 2083/08/04, by 4:00 PM

Proposal Evaluation and Selection Process

The evaluation and selection of research proposals will be conducted in accordance with the "Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science Mini Research Fund Mobilization Guidelines, 2083."
