Urmila Pyakurel Madhushree Foundation Awards
The Prof. Dr. Urmila Pyakurel Madhushree Foundation has honored several individuals during its second general assembly.
Established in memory of Tribhuvan University professor Urmila Pyakurel, the foundation has awarded four individuals from the academic field and one person from the literary field.

Among the awardees are two top-performing master’s-level students from the Tribhuvan University Department of Mathematics:

Legacy of Prof. Dr. Urmila Pyakurel and Formation of the Foundation
Prof. Dr. Urmila Pyakurel had become a professor by the age of 42. She passed away two years ago.
The foundation was established with 5 million rupees (50 lakh rupees), formed by combining the funds collected for her medical treatment with additional contributions from family members.
