Women Surgeons of Nepal Elects New Leadership
Prof. Dr. Paleswan Joshi Lakhe has been elected President of Women Surgeons of Nepal. She was elected to the post through the organization’s annual general meeting.
Likewise, the general meeting elected Prof. Dr. Kshaten Yonjan Tamang as General Secretary and Dr. Sujita Hirachan as Treasurer. Similarly, Dr. Maya Bhattchan and Dr. Namrata Khadka were elected as members.
Memorial Scholarship Distributed
At the program, the Dr. Pratibha Dhaubadel Memorial Scholarship, established by her family in her memory, was distributed.
The recipients of the scholarship are Dr. Isha Dahal, Dr. Dakshyata Shakya, and Dr. Rashmi Pudasaini. Each of them was awarded a scholarship of Rs. 100,000.
Similarly, Dr. Seema Parvin, Dr. Sirjana Neupane, Dr. Urusha Pathak, Dr. Niharika Malego, and Dr. Shivani Pakhrin each received a scholarship of Rs. 50,000.
