Government of Nepal, Ministry of Education Science and Technology, Scholarship Branch, Kesharamahal, Kathmandu Important notice regarding applying for a BSc Engineering scholarship under the Pakistan Technical Assistance Program (PTAP)

Since the Government of Nepal has received 6 seats for BSc Engineering from the Government of Pakistan under the Pakistan Technical Assistance Program (PTAP) for the academic session 2022/2023। Scholarship Regulations 2060 (with amendments) As per the following terms and conditions, seats have been reserved for general and reserved seats, and for nominations to those seats, candidates who have fulfilled the qualifications specified by the relevant organization and who have completed the merit of the entrance examination taken in the year 2078 from Tribhuvan University, Institute of Engineering (IoE) Pulchwok.

A notification has been published for the information of the candidates who are on the list and who are willing to study in Pakistan to apply at the scholarship branch, Kesharmahal during office hours from 2079-4-4 to 2079-4-10. The application form attached to this notice can be downloaded and submitted.

1) At least 60% marks in HSSC or equivalent examination

21 In case, Medium of instruction is not English in the qualifying examination, then candidates will have to provide a valid TOEFL or IELTS score of 550 or 5.5 respectively.

Certification by the National University of Modern Language

(NUML), Islamabad after one year English Language Course.

Condition for admission

a) Seats for foreign students are available in the institutions throughout Pakistan and the placement of students is done by EAD on the basis of merit, choice of students and the availability of slots. Moreover, institutions are not bound to entertain the students after expiry of their prescribed deadline.

b) The general eligibility /final selection of students will be made by the institutions concerned keeping in view their admission criteria.

c) Eligibility of students in terms of equivalence of certificates and grades will be determined by Inter
Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC), Islamabad. Concerned Embassies/students are bound to
submit their equivalence certificates issued by IBCC, Islamabad along with their application forms.

d) The Student admitted under PTAP will be required to pay the prescribed fee applicable under the program to the institution concerned. Expenses a traveling, boarding, lodging, etc. are also to be borne by students themselves.

e) Migration from one institute to another shall be governed by the relevant policy of the institutions

f) Exemption from tuition fees and other dues will be dealt with as per the policy of the Institutions concerned.

Updated \ latest application form which can be downloaded from EAD's website www.ead.gov.pk should be preferably typed or printed and submitted in quadruplicate along with the attested copies of the following documents:-

(I) Certificates/Mark sheets of HSSC Examination or equivalent examination

(ii) Recent Photograph passport size 14 copies)

(iii) Copies of the passport of the applicant

(iv) Equivalence Certificate by the Secretary, inter Board Committee of Chairman (IBCC) Islamabad

(v) TOFEL/IELTS score for admissions in BSc Engineering in case the medium of instruction is not English in the qualifying examination.

Required Documents:

Photocopy of admit card was taken in 2078 from TU IOE, Pulchwok and photocopy of the page containing the name of merit list
Copy of SLC/SEE passed mark sheet – 1 copy
Copy of Class 12 or equivalent transcripts and certificates - 1 copy
The amount of revenue payment is Rs 1000. Rupees one thousand) National Commercial Bank or Scholarship Branch Kesharmahal (office code no. 350003501) and its voucher (Revenue Title No. 14229) is attached herewith by depositing it at the bank counter in the premises.
Copies of the certificates of completion of the minimum qualifications prescribed by the above-mentioned authorities including the relevant marks.
When submitting the application form, you will have to show the certificate along with the required documents to be submitted.
