Applications Invited for Government Scholarship to Study B.Sc. Engineering in Pakistan
The Ministry of Education and Sports, Scholarship Branch, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has invited applications to study B.Sc. Engineering under scholarships received from the Government of Pakistan. The Ministry issued a notice on 2083 Asar 22, opening applications for seats received under the “Pakistan Technical Assistance Programme (PTAP)” for the academic session 2026-27.
According to the diplomatic note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Pakistan in Nepal, applications have been invited for six B.Sc. Engineering seats from among the received quotas, with reservations as per Rule 10(a) of the Scholarship Rules, 2060. According to the letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, nominations had been requested for a total of 14 seats under this program: six in B.Sc. Engineering and eight in D. Pharmacy.
Subject and Seat Details
The six seats opened by the Ministry for B.Sc. Engineering are as follows:

Civil Engineering: 2 seats, Open-1, Female-1

Computer Engineering: 2 seats, Open-1, Female-1

Electrical Engineering: 2 seats, Open-1, Female-1
Minimum Qualification and Basis of Selection
Academic qualification: Applicants must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent level. According to the letter from the Embassy of Pakistan, applicants must have secured at least 60 percent marks in HSSC or an equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Entrance examination: Applicants’ names must be included in the result of the Bachelors of Engineering entrance examination conducted in 2082 by Tribhuvan University, Institute of Engineering (IOE), Pulchowk, published on 2082 Bhadra 11 (2082/05/11).
Basis of selection: The merit order of the IOE Pulchowk entrance examination will be used as the basis for selection.
