TU Scholarship Notice for Higher Studies 2026
Tribhuvan University has issued this notice to invite applications for scholarship study under the Human Resource Development and Welfare Program for Fiscal Year 2025/26 (2082/083 BS) for the career development of its teachers and employees.
For teachers, scholarships are available for PhD and MPhil study. For employees, scholarships are available for PhD, MPhil, master's, and bachelor's study.
Applications are invited from currently serving teachers and employees of Tribhuvan University who have obtained prior approval from TU, are not above 50 years of age, and have been admitted to the relevant level in Fiscal Year 2025/26 (2082/083 BS) without having completed one year of study. Applicants must also have completed at least 3 years of permanent service in TU campuses or offices within Kathmandu Valley, or at least 2 years of permanent service in TU campuses or offices outside the Valley.
As prescribed by the Tribhuvan University Human Resource Development Regulations, 2080 BS, eligible teachers and employees, as well as teachers working in TU-affiliated community campuses and colleges, may apply using the prescribed application form.
Applications must be submitted within 21 days from the date of publication of this notice in Gorkhapatra. The application form must be filled out in accordance with the Tribhuvan University Human Resource Development Regulations, 2080 BS, certified by the head of the concerned institution, and submitted to the Office of the Rector, Coordination Division, Kirtipur, together with the voucher of NPR 1,000 deposited in Tribhuvan University’s Career Development Account No. 04500100099006000001 at Nepal Bank Limited.
Applications that are incomplete or received after the deadline will not be processed.
