University Grants Commission (UGC) Nepal Announces Scholarship for Higher Education: Eligibility, Application Process, and More

UGC Nepal has announced a scholarship program for higher education in accordance with its Program Procedures, 2079. The scholarship program aims to increase access to higher education for disadvantaged groups and provide financial support to dependent children.

Eligibility for the Scholarship Program:

  • The scholarship program is open to economically disadvantaged groups, Dalits, freedmen, Muslim women, disabled individuals, or children of martyrs or victims of conflict.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in the first year of undergraduate or postgraduate programs in the financial year 2079/080.

Important Points to Remember Before Applying for the Scholarship:

  • Late applications and those without the required documents will not be accepted.
  • The Commission will not provide double scholarships to any student for studies at the same level.
