Astha Samuha Job Vacancy for Health Assistant and Lab Assistant:

Astha Samuha (AS) is a non-governmental and non-profitable organization working in the field of drug and HIV since 2064 BS and going to implementing "INTENSIFIED ACTIVE CASE DETECTION-IACD" across Malaria risk areas in 3 districts of Province 5 namely Rupandehi, Kapilvastu, and Nawalparasi-west in partnership with Save the Children/Global Fundeffective from 16 September 2020 for 4 months. Therefore, we'd like to invite applications from the interested Nepalese candidates who are eligible, accountable, and have the ability to deliver results with the highest level of integrity for the following positions:

1. Positions: Health Assistant (HA)

Total Required No.	2 (1 each for Rupandehi & Kapilvastu districts)
Grade	5
Requirements	Health Assistant course pass NHPC registration and at least l -year experience in the relevant field.
Responsibilities: Coordination with local stakeholders, NagarPalikas (NPs), GaunPalikas (GPs) health sections, and health facility to identify the venerable area for IACD implementation. Orient local health staff, private clinic staffs, and selected intellectual personnel of the community in performing Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) Provide support to case-based surveillance to local public-sector health staff as per need Ensure the reporting of collected ACD data in standard reporting systems (HMIS 5.2, update in HMIS 5.3 and reported through HMIS 9.3 of the respective health facilities)

2. Positions: Lab Assistant (LA)

Total Required No.	2 (1 each for Rupandehi & Kapilvastu districts)
Grade	4
Requirements	Lab Assistant course pass NHPC registration and at least l -year experience in the relevant field.
Responsibilities: Support to HA and other health workers team for coronation and execution of IACD in a selected areas of the district. Verify, update and ensure the timely arrangements of commodities (Medicine &RTD) through health facilities on a monthly/weekly basis or as per need Perform RDT during the IACD visit Update record of IACD and ensure the report is registered in HMIS 5.2 Prepare slides of the selected cases for QA/QC and ensure further tests.
