CRS Nepal Vacancy for Senior Community Mobilization Officer

CRS is an international NGO based in the United States that works in over 100 countries to promote human development by responding to major emergencies, fighting disease and poverty, and nurturing peaceful and just societies. CRS Nepal implements earthquake recovery and resilience programming in Gorkha and Okhaldhunga districts to provide technical support for the reconstruction of earthquake resilient houses, livelihood recovery and WASH. The Housing Recovery and Reconstruction Platform (HRRP) is led by CRS Nepal, and other financial contributors and INGOs. CRS has also been awarded the USAID­funded Farmer to Farmer program.

CRS Nepal invites applications from interested Nepalese citizens for the following position:

Senior Community Mobilization Officer: (1 Position-Based in Gorkha)

  • Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree in Rural Development or social sciences would be a plus. Minimum of 4 years of work experience in similar projects. Experience in the field of Gorkha and for an NGO would be a plus. Experience in participatory action planning and community engagement and in developing training manual and session plans/facilitation guidelines. Experience to conduct Adult learning events/training. Experience using MS Windows and MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
