Hyatt Regency Kathmandu Job Vacancy

Hyatt Regency Kathmandu: looking for highly motivated, self-driven and result-oriented personnel with excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication (English & Nepali) skills, as well as an outgoing personality, for the positions listed below.

The candidates will be responsible for assisting In the efficient and smooth operation in the areas concerned, in line with Hyatt Hotels Corporation's strategies and brand standards. The successful applicant will be required to ensure an excellent and consistent service to customers while meeting the expectations of associates, guests, and owners.

1. SAFETY AND SECURITY MANAGER

  • Ideally with a professional diploma or certificate in Safety and Security.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience as Security Manager, or Assistant Security Manager in larger operation preferably in an International Hotel.
  • Good practical, operational and adequate administrative skills are a must. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (with advanced proficiency of the English Language) along with the ability to confidently interact with guests in person.

2. LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

  • Ideally with a university degree in HRM/HRD or Hospitality/Tourism management.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in larger operation with a good working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including employee relations, training, and development, diversity and performance management.
  • Good presentation, administrative, communications, and interpersonal skills are a must. - Energetic, passionate, self-motivated and a strong team player.
  • Up to date with training/hospitality trends and best practices.

3. CHEF DE CUISINE

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or completed three years' chef apprenticeship. Minimum of two years' work experience as a Chef De Cuisine in a hotel with good knowledge of large volume production.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices, occupational health and safety standards and international work experience shall be advantageous.
  • Basic Computer Skills in MS Office and Recipe Maintenance System are preferred. Candidates with good practical, operational and adequate administrative skills and a flair for creativity are a must.

4. ASSISTANT SPA MANAGER

  • Ideally with a relevant diploma in Leisure management or Hospitality/Tourism management.
  • Minimum 2 to 4 years of work experience as a Fitness Center Manager or Fitness Consultant. - Operations management experience preferred in the hospitality, resort or spa industry. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • High analytical ability and emotional intelligence.

5. OUTLET MANAGER

  • Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality/Tourism management. Minimum 2 years work experience as Outlet Manager or Assistant Manager in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards.
  • Strong operational, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Service oriented style with professional presentations skills.

6. CHEF DE PARTIE-BUTCHERY

  • Bachelor's degree In Hospitality or completed three years' chef apprenticeship. Candidates with good practical butchery skills and a flair for creativity will be given preference.
  • Excellent customer services and interpersonal skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices, occupational health, and food safety standards.
