The Province Public Service Commission, Koshi Province, invites applications from eligible candidates for promotion to the following ninth-level technical officer positions under the Local Government Service through work competency assessment.

Eligible candidates who meet the requirements prescribed under Section 28 of the Local Government Service (Formation and Operation) Act, 2080, and the conditions specified below must submit their applications using the prescribed form issued by the Commission.

The application deadline is 2083/07/24. If the deadline falls on a public holiday, applications may be submitted on the next working day.

Eligibility and Application Conditions

1. Promotion through Work Competency Assessment: Performance evaluation, seniority, experience working in different geographical areas, educational qualifications, and training will be assessed under Section 32 of the Local Government Service (Formation and Operation) Act, 2080, in accordance with Sections 33, 34, 35, and 36 of the Act. Candidates must also meet the eligibility requirements specified in Section 30.
2. Applicants must mention their employee identification number (SIT Roll Number) issued by the National Personnel Records Office (Civil Service) or the Provincial Personnel Records Office.
3. Candidates whose educational qualifications require equivalence determination must submit a certified copy of the equivalence certificate.
4. Applicants must provide the name of the office where their performance evaluation reports for the last three years, considered for assessment, were submitted. They must also specify the duration of any study leave or training undertaken at their current level and provide details of any absence deductions, where applicable.
5. All sections of the application form must be completed clearly with the required information.
6. When submitting the promotion application for Local Government Service positions, candidates must complete the form provided by the Commission indicating their order of preference for the local levels where vacancies are to be filled. The completed preference form must be signed and submitted along with the promotion application.
7. The application fee is Rs. 2,000 (two thousand rupees only).

Application Fee Payment Method

The application fee may be paid directly through the Commission's online application system using an electronic payment method.

Alternatively, candidates may print a bank voucher containing their Master ID and transaction reference number and deposit the required amount in cash at the designated banks.

Age Requirements

As of 2083/07/15, applicants must meet the following age requirements:

• General Candidates: Must have completed 21 years of age and must not have exceeded 35 years.
• Women and Persons with Disabilities: Must not have exceeded 40 years of age.
• Health Service Candidates: Must have completed 21 years of age and must not have exceeded 45 years.
• Permanent Government Employees: The age limit will not apply to permanent employees of the Civil Service, Provincial Civil Service, and Local Government Service.
