Millennium Challenge Account Nepal (MCA-N)- In September 2017, the U.S. Government's Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) signed a $500 million compact agreement with the Government of Nepal. The compact aims to increase the availability and reliability of electricity, maintain road quality and facilitate power trade between Nepal and India—helping to spur investments and accelerate economic growth. MCA-N is the entity charged with implementing the project and announces the following position.

Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer (ED/CEO) - 1

Position Objective

• The Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer (ED/CEO), accountable to the MCA-N Board, is responsible for leading the MCA-N, the direct management of the MCA-N's Program and Operational Support Functions and serving as the primary representative of the MCA-N in the country to stakeholders, the MCA-N Board and MCC

Minimum Requirements (Education & Experience)

• Master's degree required from a recognized institution in following or equivalent fields: engineering, business administration, business management, finance, international development, development finance, economics, banking, statistics, commerce, chartered accountancy, international affairs and public policy, public administration, corporate law
• Managing a team of executives who in turn manage multi-dimensional projects, manage consultants and construction contractors and prepare reports and performance reviews on a regular basis. Multilateral donor-funded projects in the directly relevant sectors will be preferred
• Fifteen (IS) or more years of cumulative experience (earned after Bachelor's degree) in a senior management position in a reputable organization preferably both inside and outside government
