In September 2017, the U.S. Government's Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) signed a $500 million compact agreement with the Government of Nepal. The compact aims to increase the availability and reliability of electricity, maintain road quality and facilitate power trade between Nepal and India - helping to spur investments and accelerate economic growth. MCA-Nepal, the entity charged with implementing the compact, announces the following positions.

1. Project Manager - Power Sector Technical Assistance -1 PM PST-8089- I 9 |
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business, Management, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical), Economics, Public Policy, Public Administration or other relevant fields; Project Management Professional certification (PMP) is a plus;
- Seven (7) years of cumulative experience (notwithstanding whether earned before, after or during a pursuit of required academic qualification) of professional experience in institutional reform and organizational development processes, particularly in public sector organizations;
- Five (5) years of experience managing complex projects on time/on the budget (> US $ I 0 million) including procurement, implementation and closeout phases.

2. Communications and Public Affairs Manager -1 MC- 1005-19 |
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Development Communications, Mass Communications, Journalism, Community Development, Business Administration or equivalent field;
- Certification on creative writing, photography, film-making is a plus;
- Five (5) or more years of cumulative experience (notwithstanding whether earned before, after or during a pursuit of required academic qualification) in corporate communications community and public outreach. Experience in development communications is a plus.

3. Communications Specialist -1 CS-520-19 |
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Development Communications, Mass Communications, Journalism, Community Development, Business Administration or equivalent field;
- Certification on creative writing, photography, film-making is a plus;
- Five (5) or more years of cumulative experience (notwithstanding whether earned before, after or during a pursuit of required academic qualification) in corporate communications, community and public outreach. Experience in development communications is a plus.

4. Legal Advisor -1 LA-554-I9 |
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Law (Jur-is Doctor); must be qualified and certified in good standing to practice law in Nepal;
- Specialized experience in the provision of legal advice with a particular emphasis on commercial contracting and labor law;
- Five (5) or more years of relevant experience working at a law firm or as legal counsel, preferably with some experience serving as in-house counsel and some experience working in a law firm or as legal counsel in Nepal.

5. Financial Management Specialist FMS- I 557-19 |
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking & Finance,
Commerce, Financial Control, or Business Administration, Business Management, General Management, or in an equivalent field; - Five (5) or more years of cumulative experience (not withstanding whether earned before, after or during a pursuit of required academic qualification).

6. Internal Control/Compliance Specialist -1 ICCS-9 I 14-19 |
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree from a recognized institution in following or equivalent fields: Accounting, Banking & Finance, Commerce, Finance, Financial Control, Chartered Accountancy, Business Administration, Business Management, General Management, Economics or in an equivalent field;
- Five (5) or more years of progressive professional experience, (notwithstanding whether earned before, after or during a pursuit of required academic qualification) in managing corporate finance or finance functions, preferably in international development, governmental organizations or donor agencies.

7. Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist -2 MES-9391-19 |
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Statistics, Monitoring and Evaluation or a related field;
- Three (3) years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation, specifically: managing household surveys, drafting monitoring and evaluation plans, assessing data quality, extracting and assessing the quality of administrative data.

8. Procurement & Contracting Specialist -3 PCS-8025-I9 |
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Business Management, Project Management, Law, Contract Law, Contract Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, Engineering or equivalent field; or commensurate practical experience in one or more of these disciplines;
- Must have a familiarity with procurement and contract management in the public sector, demonstrated through work experience and interview;
- Demonstrated knowledge of or experience with procurement policies of World Bank, Asian Development Bank, MCC (or other international donor institutions).
