
Nepal Army Announces Vacancy for Various Trades Follower
Nepal Army, Recruitment Selection Directorate, Military Headquarters Call for Applications for Various Trades Followers Positions.
The Nepal Army invites eligible Nepali citizens to personally appear at the designated recruitment centers and submit application forms with a ticket costing Rs. 10 (ten) for various follower posts (Ba.Ka.Si., Messenger, Cleaner, Tanner, Blacksmith, and Barber) vacant within the approved manpower. These positions will be filled through open and inclusive competition.

Application Submission Date and Location
(a) Application date
From 2082/02/02 to 2082/02/31, with double fee payment, extended for 7 (seven) additional days from 2082/03/01 to 2082/03/07.
(b) Public holiday adjustment
If the last date for submitting a single or double fee application falls on a public holiday, then applications can be submitted on the next office working day with the required fee (revenue).
(c) Location
Assigned the recruitment center as applicable.
Application Fee
An application fee of Rs. 100 (one hundred only) must be paid when submitting the application form.
If applying for more than one group under the same advertisement number, an additional 20% fee per group will be charged.
Candidates must deposit the fee into the bank account number, office code, and revenue title number 14224 (exam fee account) specified by the recruitment center.
The original voucher and one copy of the application form for each group must be submitted to the recruitment center.
Required Qualifications
(a) Minimum educational qualification
Basic literacy and the ability to read and write.
(b) Physical qualifications

(c) Other qualifications
If wearing glasses, eye power should not be weaker than +2.
Candidates for the above posts must be declared fit after a medical examination, must have no criminal convictions or punishments, must not currently be members of any political party, must not be involved in any criminal activities, must not be members of any destructive organizations, must not have been punished for spying against Nepal, must have no convictions related to human rights or humanitarian law violations, and must not have been dismissed from government service for disqualification.
Other qualifications are as per “Soldier Service Regulations, 2069 (with amendments)” and “Recruitment Selection Directive, 2071.”
Age Limit
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and not exceed 26 years of age by the last date of application submission, i.e., born between 2056/02/31 and 2064/02/31.
Documents to be Submitted with the Application
Candidates must submit self-certified copies of the following documents in Nepali file format, one copy each. Certificates with erasures or double writing will not be accepted. The original documents should be brought at the time of application submission.
(a) Nepali citizenship certificate
(b) Other certificates received (if any extra-curricular activities)
(c) Additional documents for descendants of Nepali soldiers
For descendants of Nepali soldiers who have been physically disabled due to injuries during military training or duty or who died during duty, the following additional documents must be self-certified and submitted:

Certified copy of the list including the candidate’s name published by the Directorate of Ceremony Operation or a certificate of retirement benefits (pension card) mentioning “martyr” or “disabled.”

For reinstated persons, a certified copy of the medical board recommendation letter as per Rule 107 of “Soldier Service Regulations, 2069 (with amendments).”

A certified copy of the relationship proof with the concerned candidate.
Photograph
Candidates must submit four (4) recent passport-size, clear full-face photos (both ears visible; men should be clean-shaven and have trimmed hair) and one (1) 2x2 size photo along with the application.
Date and Place for Examination Contact
After registering the application, on 2082/03/16 at 11:00 AM at the respective recruitment center where the application was submitted.
Selection Process
Selection will be conducted as follows:
(a) Tests involved
Wearing and a preliminary health check, physical test, practical test, detailed health check, and interview.
(b) Test standards
The official advertisement uploaded on the Recruitment Selection Directorate’s official portal, http://vacancy.nepalarmy.mil.np, under VACANCY & REQUIREMENTS, contains standards for wearing and physical tests.
(c) Test locations
Candidate selection tests will be conducted at the recruitment centers.
Salary, Allowances, Rations, and Other Facilities
As per the prevailing rules and regulations of the Nepal Army.
Other Conditions
(a) Government/semi-government employees
Persons working in the Government of Nepal or other semi-government organizations must submit departmental approval to apply.
(b) Document authenticity
Candidates must bring the original documents containing all the information submitted during the application and interview. Providing false information will lead to legal action.
(c) Inclusive candidates
Inclusive candidates can compete only within one of the indigenous/ethnic groups, Madhesi, or Dalit communities.
However, this does not apply to women candidates. Candidates from disadvantaged regions (both male and female) may also apply under the disadvantaged region quota.
(d) Marital status
Candidates must be unmarried.
(e) Application limitation
Applications under the same advertisement number and post can be submitted from only one recruitment center.
(f) Reporting requirements
Candidates must report to the assigned place and time at their arrangement for each stage of the selection process. They must bring their original citizenship certificate for every exam.
(g) Candidate responsibility
Candidates are responsible for their safety during the selection process and any accidents occurring during the exams.
(h) Illegal activities
Suppose any candidates or others are found to be involved in bribery, financial transactions, or illegal activities. In that case, they will be expelled from the selection process and punished as per the Army Act for soldiers or the prevailing law for others.
Special Notice
According to the Supreme Court’s order dated 2079/10/24 in writ number 078-WO-0382, in which the Nepal Army Recruitment Selection Directorate and Military Headquarters are respondents, legal provisions will be made regarding the proportional inclusion of the inclusive group’s posts starting from fiscal year 079/80.
This notice is published under prevailing laws to compensate for posts lost due to non-inclusion.
