Ramesh P. & Associates an Accounting & Auditing firm located in Kathmandu would like to invite a qualified candidate to apply for the following open vacancies. Ramesh P. & Associates provides accounting, tax and consulting services to the United State based Certified Public Accounting Firm (CPA). Ramesh P & Associates directly handles the accounting, tax & compliance needs of US-based companies which ranges from health care, hospitality, construction, and departmental stores.

The selected candidate will be working on US GAAP US Taxation, US Auditing and compliance sector thus a good understanding of basic accounting knowledge is definitely a plus. Furthermore, a qualified candidate will also possess a good command of English writing, speaking and computer skills.

Salary and remuneration will depend on education, experience, and knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

1. Staff Account –I,  Position Open: 1

Job Description:

  • Review monthly accounting procedures- bookkeeping, payroll, reconciliations.
  • Prepare & review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for the client's presentation prepared by subordinates.
  • Analyze past and present trends and prepare estimated annual revenue and expenditure for quarterly & annual income tax projections.
  • Complete Financial Audit Procedures using PPC system, prepare work papers and reconciliations and analyze trial balance.
  • Prepare & review income tax returns for various business and personal.
  • Review Payroll information in Payroll software and generate quarterly payroll returns.
  • Communicate regularly with supervisor and team members on work progress.

Job Qualification:

  • CA Candidate, ACCA, or Master's in accounting preferably with 1-2 years of experience
  • Should have sound knowledge of accounting
  • Experience in similar office set-up and responsibilities is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge in accounting software (Tally, Quickbook) is preferable.
  • IT literate and must be able to use MS Office Package with proficiency level in excel
  • Great attitude and good communication skills
  • A team player with the ability to work as part of a team or on their own

2. Staff Accountant - II Position Open: 2

Job Description:

  • Perform monthly bookkeeping, payroll entry, and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for supervisor review
  • Provide and maintain current Income & Expenses data for quarterly and annual tax estimation
  • Close books of accounts for the preparation of annual income tax returns for various business and personal.
  • Enter bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly payroll information in the payroll system, prepare for process clients payroll file and prepare quarterly payroll returns
  • Maintain clients’ accounts, client communication records, and client’s information's, books of account, meeting notes, and notices from departments in electronic file cabinets
  • Communicate regularly with supervisor and team members on work progress.

Job Qualification:

  • Master in Accounting, or Bachelor's in Accounting preferable 1-2 years of experience
  • Should have sound knowledge of accounting.
  • Experience in similar office set-up and responsibilities is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge in accounting software (Tally, Quickbook) is preferable.
