Sana Kisan Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited Notification of Staff Requirements: According to the contract between Sana Kisan Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited and the skill project, there is a need for manpower as per the contract service for the Capacity Development and Financing to Migrant Workers program; Nepali citizens who have qualified according to the list must fill in the copies of their educational qualification, citizenship, training and experience certificates and the application form prescribed by this financial institution (Schedule-1.1) within 15 days from the date of publication of this notice in the newspaper (the last day of submitting the application for public leave). This notification has been published to submit the application to the address below within office hours (on the first day of office opening thereafter). No action will be taken on applications that are not received properly and after the specified time.

1. Position: Monitoring, Reporting, and Knowledge Management (MRKM) Specialist - 1 (One)

Required Academic Qualification and Experience: 

  • Having passed a Master's degree in any subject and have at least two (2) years of work experience related to Monitoring Reporting Knowledge Management in the project of a donor organization, or
  • Graduated in any subject and have at least three (3) years of work experience in Monitoring Reporting Knowledge Management projects of charity organizations.
  • Having basic computer knowledge.
  • Having knowledge of English and Nepali typing.
  • Two-wheeler vehicle License.

Salary and Other Facilities: Monthly salary is eighty-five thousand rupees (85,000.-) and annual salary of one month ten expenses and daily and travel expenses as determined by the management.

Place to Work: Central Office of Financial Institution, Kathmandu.

Age: Should have completed 18 years on the last date of signing and not exceeding 55 years.

Additional Information:

Vacation facility: 1 day sick leave and 1 day sick leave per month.

ToR-Monitoring, Reporting, and Knowledge Management Specialist:

The Monitoring Reporting and Knowledge Management Specialist (MRKMS) shall be responsible for the documentation, reporting, and Knowledge management of the SEP-supported Capacity Development and Financing to Migrant Workers Project. Reporting to the Enterprise Development Specialist/Project Coordinator (EDS/PC), the MRKMS shall carry out all the activities required to achieve the project goals. The following are key activities that the MRKMS shall undertake under this contract.

Scope of the work:

Design and Implement M&E System:

    • Develop and implement the M&E plan of the project to generate regular information related to the progress of the project.
    • Develop required indicators with SEP MEAL team for data collection and design data collection tools/templates in Ms. Excel, and assist field Coordinators with regular data collection/generation.
    • Provide technical support to project staff on implementing the M&E plan and logical framework.
    • Liaise with Area Offices to collect and analyze data and to determine progress achieved.

Project Information Management:

    • Track the project's output and outcome level results on a periodic basis in close coordination with the project implementing team as well as with SEP.
    • Collect, check, verify and compile data from the field as stipulated in the M&E plan.
    • Review and compile monitoring reports, project progress reports, evaluation reports, photographs, case studies video documentaries, PowerPoint presentations, etc.  Update and maintain the project database.

Capacity Development in M&E:

    • Provide technical support to the focal persons of Partner SFACLs members for all M&E-related activities.
    • Train Field Coordinator on M&E concepts, skills, and tools for smooth data generation and reporting.
    • Work closely with the Project Coordinator and PIU of SKBBL for proper data collection and reporting.

Quality Assurance:

    • Review field-level assessment reports, baseline studies, and evaluation reports.
    • Ensure that reports from partner SFACLs are complete, valid, and meet the quality requirements.

Reporting and Documentation:

    • Prepare the project periodic progress report and submit it to the EDS/PC.
    • Assist Field Coordinators to prepare periodic reports of projects by providing M&E-related information.
    • Collect and/or assist to collect case stories, best practice documentation, and lesson learned, and update and manage that information in project reports and other knowledge products.
    • Work closely with the Skill for Employment-UKaid to ensure that lessons learned from project evaluations are documented properly.
    • Contribute to developing and managing knowledge products (knowledge management) of the project.

General responsibility:

  • Prepare a monitoring field visit plan and conduct monitoring visits as and when required.
  • Conduct regular monitoring of the project's interventions to ensure the quality delivery of inputs and contribute to generating expected results.
  • Work closely with the project team member and relevant stakeholders for monitoring and evaluation of project interventions.
  • Prepare project-related reports in coordination with the EDS/PC.
  • Assist to organize and facilitate various events such as meetings, workshops, conferences, and seminars.
  • Carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned by EDS/PC and SKBBL.

2. Position: Field Coordinator - 5 (Five)

Required Academic Qualification and Experience: 

  • After passing a Master's degree in any subject, Bank and Financial Institution or Agricultural Co-operative Society or
  • At least two (2) years of work experience in a charity project, or
  • Bank and Financial Institutions or Agricultural Co-operative Institutions or Charitable Institutions after passing graduation in any subject
  • Having at least three (3) years of work experience in an organization's project, or
  • Passed Proficiency Certificate (10+2) level in any subject Banks and Financial Institutions or Agricultural Cooperatives
  • At least five (5) years of work experience in an organization or charity project.
  • Having basic computer knowledge.
  • Having knowledge of English and Nepali typing.
  • Two-wheeler vehicle license.

ToR-Field Coordinator

The Field Coordinator (FC) shall be responsible for the implementation of the SEP-supported Capacity Development and Financing to Migrant Workers Project at assigned districts/SFACLs. Reporting to the Area Manager and Enterprise Development Specialist/Project Coordinator (EDS/PC), the FC shall carry out all the activities required to achieve the project goals. The following are key activities that the FC shall undertake under this contract.

Scope of the work

  • Assist Area Office to select the partner SFACLs to carry out project activities.
  • Collect migration and other relevant data from partner SFACLs, verify, compile it and submit it to EDS/PC.
  • Collect data for the baseline survey.
  • Prepare monthly status reports and submit it to the PC.
  • Update the MIS report of the Project on monthly basis.
  • Prepare and submit at least two success stories of target beneficiaries each month in the prescribed format.
  • Identify the potential training participants of partner SFACLs and recommend them for the training event planned under the project.
  • Monitor the activities of the training participants and report to the EDS/PC.
  • Work in close coordination with the partner SFACLs to achieve the project goal within the stipulated timeframe.
  • Collect and monitor the saving, loans, and other financial indicators of the partner SFACLs required for the project MIS and other purposes.
  • Maintain Project sub-account and another record as required in MIS
  • Assist the Monitoring, Reporting, and Knowledge Management Specialist (MRKMS) to prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and project completion reports.
  • Monitor the promotional materials and contents that are used under the project by the partner SFACLs
  • Assist SFACLs to carry out project activities for the partner SFACLs.
  • Visit the partner SFACLs and submit the report in the prescribed format to the PC and Area Office.
  • Carry out any other tasks reasonably requested by the EDS/PC and the management of SKBBL.

Duty Station 

The FC shall be stationed at the Area Office ……………………………. with frequent visits to the partner SFACLs.
