1. Position: Program Manager - Human Rights and Gender

  • Required No.(s): 1
  • Term & Location: Fixed-term until December 2019 with possible extension based in Kathmandu
  • Description: Lead for effective implementation of the Global Fund's Catalytic Fund to address Human Rights related barriers among key populations for HIV and TB in Nepal; provide technical support in programming and policy, planning, designing, implementing and monitoring across all program interventions and related activities.
  • Eligibility: Master's degree in Public Health, Gender, Human Rights or related fields, specialization on Gender and Human Rights with minimum 7 years (5 years for GSI groups') of professional experience in the areas of Public Health Program; prior working experience with key populations on HIV and TB will be an asset

2. Position: Senior Project Coordinator - Child Poverty (CPoV)

  • Required No.(s): 1
  • Term & Location: Fixed-term until December 2019 with possible extension based in Surkhet
  • Description: Ensuring high-quality child-focused child poverty programs reaching the most vulnerable and deprived communities; ensure that CPoV strategies, programs/projects, training modules, and proven approaches are rolled out effectively; provide hands-on technical support to partner and staff at the state and Palika levels
  • Eligibility: Master's degree in Agriculture, Management, or other relevant disciplines with minimum 5 years (3 years for GSI groups') of experience in managing programs in coordination with local government authorities.

3. Position: MEAL Coordinator - Operational Research

  • Required No.(s): 1
  • Term & Location: Fixed-term until December 2019 with possible extension based in Kathmandu
  • Description: Conduct operational research on key issues to generate evidence to provide reliable information to make improvements in the quality of programs and support in strategic decision- making for delivering high-quality impact on children
  • Eligibility: Master's degree in Social Science or related discipline with minimum 3 years (2 years for GSI group*)of relevant work experience; working knowledge of analytical data tools like SPSS and STATA is a must. 

*GSI group include Female, Dalit, Madhesi, People with Disabilities and other indigenous/minorities
