Nepal Open University Opens Admission for Academic Session 2083 under the Faculty of Management and Law
Nepal Open University, Office of the Dean, Faculty of Management and Law, Manbhawan, Lalitpur, has called for admission applications for various programs for academic session 2083. The university issued a notice on 2083 Asar 22, informing all concerned that applications are open.
Programs, Duration, and Minimum Qualification
According to the notice published by the university, the programs opened for admission and the required minimum qualifications are as follows:
Program: Bachelor of Business Sciences (BBS)
Duration and System: 3 years (BBS Honors 3+1 years)
Minimum Qualification Required for Admission: Passed Grade 12 in any subject or equivalent.
Program: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)
Duration and System: 3 years
Minimum Qualification Required for Admission: Passed Bachelor’s level in any subject or equivalent.
Application Process and Fee
Application Method: The admission application form must be filled online through “For Entrance” by visiting the Student Panel on the university website, www.nou.edu.np.
Documents: Applicants must scan and upload the certificate and transcript proving that they meet the qualification prescribed for the concerned academic program.
Application Fee: Rs. 1,000/- (one thousand).
Bank Account for Deposit: The application fee must be deposited in the current account no. 00501010000502 maintained in the name of Nepal Open University at Global IME Bank Limited, Kirtipur Branch.
Payment Rules: While depositing the amount, the applicant must compulsorily mention their name. The voucher must be scanned and uploaded with the application form, and the applicant must keep the voucher safely. The university has informed applicants not to pay the fee through eSewa, Khalti, and similar platforms.
Entrance Examination and Other Conditions
An entrance examination will be conducted only for the LL.B. program. The type of entrance examination, examination center, and schedule for this will be published later.
There will be no entrance examination for the BBS program.
Applicants must have acquired basic computer skills and knowledge.
If the number of applicant students in each program is fewer than 20, the university will not be obliged to conduct admission.

LL.B. Entrance Examination Syllabus
The entrance examination syllabus will be based on Jurisprudence and the Constitution of Nepal. The weightage of the examination has been prescribed as follows:
Objective (MCQ): 50 full marks
Subjective: 50 full marks
