The MPhil in English Education at Nepal Open University is a research-based postgraduate degree designed to prepare graduates for advanced academic and professional roles. Graduates of the MPhil in English Education will:

Candidates must meet the following criteria:
Hold an MEd, Master in Pedagogical Sciences, or Master in Educational Studies with at least a second division or a CGPA of 2.7.
Candidates with a Master's degree in other disciplines and a second division or CGPA of 2.7 are also eligible, but they must complete an additional three-credit introductory course.
Applicants must pass an entrance examination based on the following structure:
