The Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Mathematics Education is a research-based postgraduate degree designed to motivate graduates to conduct quality research and expand their theoretical understanding. Upon completion of the MPhil program, graduates will be able to:
Candidates with an MEd, Master in Pedagogical Sciences, or Master in Educational Studies with a second division or CGPA of 2.7 are eligible. Candidates with a Master’s degree in other disciplines and a second division or CGPA of 2.7 must take an additional three-credit introductory course.
