The Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Mathematics Education is a research-based postgraduate degree designed to motivate graduates to conduct quality research and expand their theoretical understanding. The MPhil Program in Mathematics Education is primarily for working individuals who cannot attend conventional face-to-face education systems but wish to pursue advanced-level courses in Educational Studies.
Upon completion of the MPhil program, graduates will be able to:
Candidates with an MEd, Master in Pedagogical Sciences, or Master in Educational Studies with a second division or CGPA of 2.7 are eligible. Candidates with a Master’s degree in other disciplines and a second division or CGPA of 2.7 must take an additional three-credit introductory course.
