LLB and LLM Entrance Exam and Admission Notice

This notice has been published for eligible applicants who wish to enroll in the Three-Year LL.B. and Two-Year LL.M. (Annual System) programs under the Faculty of Humanities and Law, Rajarshi Janak University, and to submit an online application for the entrance examination.

Admission will be granted on the basis of merit order from among those who obtain at least 40 marks in the RJU entrance examination.

While filling the online application form, the applicant must compulsorily scan and upload the following documents in the prescribed format and complete entrance registration through the online form available at Apply rju.edu.np:

  • Academic transcripts/marksheets of educational qualification

  • Citizenship certificate

  • Equivalence Certificate (if applicable)

  • Photograph

  • Specimen of the applicant’s signature

Applicants wishing to apply under the reservation quota must attach the required supporting documents or recommendation letters for claiming the relevant quota through the online system.

Applicants will be eligible to take the entrance examination, compete, and study only at the same location for which they have submitted the application form.

Eligibility criteria for admission to the Three-Year LL.B. program

Applicants who wish to enroll in the LL.B. program must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or education board.

For this purpose, a Bachelor’s Degree means completion of 10+2 or +3 and successful completion of at least a three-year Bachelor’s level program in any subject, or completion of an equivalent program.

Eligibility criteria for admission to the LL.M. program

Applicants who wish to enroll in the LL.M. program must have passed either:

  • Five-Year B.A. LL.B., or

  • Three-Year LL.B.

from a recognized university or education board.

Application form and entrance examination fee

  • LL.B. entrance examination fee: Rs. 1000/- (In words: One thousand only)

  • LL.M. entrance examination fee: Rs. 1500/- (In words: One thousand five hundred only)

While depositing the fee, the applicant’s full name and mobile number must be clearly mentioned.

Application submission period

  • From: 2082 Magh 02

  • Until: 2082 Magh 21, up to 12:00 midnight

  • With double fee: Up to 2082 Magh 23, 12:00 midnight

Admit card availability

The admit card will be available online from 2082 Magh 23.

To appear in the examination, students must carry:

  • Citizenship certificate or a government-issued identity card, and

  • Printed paper copy of the admit card downloaded online
