Overview

Established on 1st Baishakh, 2022 BS (1965 AD), Birendra Multiple Campus, Chitwan was initially named "Birendra Intermediate Arts College" in honor of the late King Birendra. The campus was established to meet the growing need for higher education in Chitwan after it was opened for settlement in 2011 BS. Despite facing several difficulties in its early stages, including operating from rented spaces, the campus persevered and received 10 Bighas of land from GoN in 2028. It finally shifted to its own building in 2032, where it inaugurated Bachelor level courses in 2035, becoming the first multiple campus in Chitwan district. From 2045 onwards, it continued to expand its academic programs, adding different courses in Bachelor and Master's levels.
