Kanchanjunga Campus

Kanchanjunga Campus (कञ्चनजंगा क्याम्पस) is located in Krishnapur Municipality–5, Gulariya, Kanchanpur, Sudurpashchim Province. Established in 2080 B.S. (2023 AD) by a team of academicians and professionals, the campus began its academic journey with the four-year Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) program affiliated with Tribhuvan University (TU).

The campus is situated away from heavy vehicular movement and other common sources of disturbance. Its setting is intended to provide students with a peaceful place for regular classes, independent study, and academic interaction. The location is accessible to students and parents or guardians living in and around Krishnapur and nearby areas of Kanchanpur. It has a sister organization named Kanchanjunga English Secondary School.

Academic program

Kanchanjunga Campus currently runs the Bachelor of Business Studies program as its initial academic offering. The BBS program follows the annual system of Tribhuvan University’s Faculty of Management.

The program is designed to develop students’ understanding of business, economics, accounting, finance, management, marketing, taxation, law and entrepreneurship. It also includes concentration courses and a final project component during the fourth year.

The year-wise structure covers:

• First year: Business English, Business Statistics, Microeconomics for Business, Financial Accounting and Analysis, and Principles of Management.

• Second year: Business Communication, Macroeconomics for Business, Cost and Management Accounting, Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management, and Fundamentals of Financial Management.

• Third year: Business Law, Foundation of Financial Systems, Business Environment and Strategy, Taxation in Nepal, and Fundamentals of Marketing.

• Fourth year: Entrepreneurship, three concentration courses, Business Research Methods, and a Final Project.

Students select concentration courses from one functional area offered under the TU curriculum. The available areas include Accounting, Finance, Management and Marketing. The fourth-year project requires students to connect classroom learning with organizational study and academic research.

Teaching and learning environment

The campus has a professionally trained teaching team, including qualified and experienced professors. Classes are conducted in English and Nepali, allowing students to engage with course content through the language suitable for their academic needs.

Student-centred teaching is supported by counselling and guidance services. Regular interaction between the campus and parents is also included in its approach to student follow-up. Guest professors may be invited to contribute additional academic perspectives in management-related subjects.

Free extra classes are available to support students who need further academic assistance. Computer training is also provided, giving students an opportunity to develop practical digital skills alongside their BBS studies.

Scholarships

The campus provides scholarship support for economically disadvantaged, tribal, Dalit, free-laborer and meritorious students. Students who obtain an A+ grade in the Class 12 annual examination are eligible for a full scholarship under the campus scholarship provision.

Scholarship conditions, continuation requirements and application procedures are managed through the campus administration.
