Overview
Kushadevi Campus (कुशादेवी क्याम्पस) is a TU-affiliated community campus located in Panauti Municipality-2, Kushadevi, Kavrepalanchok, Bagmati Province, Nepal. Established in 2064 BS (2007 AD) and formally established on 20 September 2007, the campus was opened to support bachelor-level access for students in Panauti and nearby areas.
It operates in the faculties of Education and Management and runs four-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) programmes under the TU annual system.

Campus Overview
Kushadevi Campus was established to expand local access to higher education after secondary-level study. It serves students from Panauti Municipality, including Wards 1, 2, and 3, and also supports learners from nearby areas such as the southern part of Suryabinayak Municipality (Bhaktapur) and the eastern part of Mahalakshmi Municipality (Lalitpur).
The campus began with the B.Ed. programme. The four-year BBS programme started from the academic session 2070/71 BS after receiving permission to run the course.

Programmes Offered
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)
Kushadevi Campus offers a four-year full-time Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme under the TU annual system. The four-year B.Ed. is a professional and academic bachelor programme designed to prepare teachers for secondary-level teaching.
The standard structure includes 22 courses grouped under communication skills, professional core areas, specialization major courses, specialization minor courses, and teaching internship/practicum. Communication skills include General Nepali and General English. Professional core areas include philosophical and sociological foundations of education, educational psychology, curriculum and evaluation, and an elective in instructional technology or ICT-related study. Teaching internship/practicum is included in the final phase of the programme.
For admission, applicants must have passed Higher Secondary Education, Grade 12, PCL, or an equivalent qualification. Subject-area requirements apply according to the chosen specialization.
Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS)
Kushadevi Campus offers the four-year Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) programme under the TU annual system. The programme is structured across four academic years and combines foundation courses, core business studies, concentration-area courses, business research methods, and final project work.
The standard curriculum includes foundation and compulsory subjects such as Business English, Business Statistics, Microeconomics for Business, Business Law, Business Communication, and Macroeconomics for Business. Core business subjects include Financial Accounting and Analysis, Cost and Management Accounting, Principles of Management, Fundamentals of Marketing, Fundamentals of Financial Management, Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management, Business Environment and Strategy, Taxation in Nepal, Entrepreneurship, Business Research Methods, and Foundation of Financial Systems. The programme also includes concentration courses in one functional area such as Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or Management, along with a final project in the fourth year supported by field-based study and presentation.
The TU BBS degree requires completion of 19 courses carrying 1950 marks and a final project of 50 marks.
For admission, applicants must have completed 10+2 in business/commerce or an equivalent qualification from a board or university recognized by Tribhuvan University.
Academic Process
The academic process follows TU rules, guidelines, and the TU annual calendar for admission, course delivery, annual examinations, and results. Under the TU BBS annual system, annual examination eligibility includes a minimum attendance requirement of 70 percent of classes actually held. Progression is managed through the year-wise annual examination sequence, with separate evaluation of theory, practical, and project components where applicable.
