Laxmi Adarsha Multiple Campus was founded to create local opportunities for higher education in the eastern part of Kaski district. The campus is situated in the area that was formerly under Lekhnath Municipality and now falls within Ward No. 27 of Pokhara Metropolitan City. Its academic reach extends across Wards 26 to 33 of the metropolitan area and also includes nearby Rupa and Madi rural municipalities.
The campus grew out of a local educational setting where secondary and higher secondary education had already taken root. Shree Laxmi Aadarsha Secondary School was established in 2025 BS, was upgraded to higher secondary level in 2060 BS, and the multiple campus was established in 2062 BS. This background reflects a gradual expansion of educational access in the area.

A 10-room concrete building was completed with the support of the then Lekhnath Municipality and UGC. A 23-room concrete building was later completed with support from the Government of India and was formally inaugurated on 2075 Mangsir 1.
