Mahakavi Devkota Campus

Mahakavi Devkota Campus (MDC) was established in 2003 (2060 BS) in Sunwal, Parasi district, Nepal. It is a non-profit community college that has been a leading college in this area.

Since there is not even a single constituent college of Tribhuvan University in this district, MDC has been providing quality higher education (BBA, BBS, BEd, BA, MBS, BICTE) to local students at affordable costs. 

A large section of its student population constitutes economically backward and marginalized communities, such as Dalit, Madhesi, Tharu, Muslim, etc.

Mahakavi Devkota Campus has been dedicated to providing quality higher education. Therefore, it has participated in the QAA (Quality Assurance & Accreditation) Program launched by Nepal's University Grant Commission (UGC).

Scholarship Scheme

Located in Ward No. 4 of Sunwal Municipality, Mahakavi Devkota Campus is a non-profit community campus. The primary objective of this campus is to provide quality higher education to students from middle- and lower-income backgrounds.

This scholarship scheme has been established to provide financial assistance to various groups, including women, Dalits, the poor, tribals, marginalized communities, minorities, meritorious students, and individuals with disabilities, to access higher education.

The scholarship management and distribution work will be handled by the Scholarship Committee, which the Campus Board of Directors forms. Types of Scholarships
