The BBS curriculum includes compulsory courses, core business studies, concentration areas, and final project work. Concentration areas include Accounting, Finance, Marketing, and Management.
Master of Business Studies (MBS)
The Master of Business Studies is a two-year full-time program under the Faculty of Management, Tribhuvan University. The program focuses on preparing students for managerial roles in functional areas of management such as accounting, marketing, finance, and general management.
The MBS program follows a semester structure and includes coursework in marketing management, managerial economics, statistical methods, organizational behavior, managerial communication, financial management, human resource management, production and operations management, business environment, research methodology, international business, strategic management, entrepreneurship, and specialization courses.
Admission Process

Students applying for the MBS program must complete the application form with personal details and past academic records.

Selection for the MBS program is based on CMAT.

The CMAT follows a GMAT and GRE-style format.

The admission test assesses verbal and quantitative ability, business and economics, logical reasoning, and general awareness.

The CMAT contains 100 questions, with 20 questions in each section.

Students must secure at least 40 percent in CMAT to qualify for admission.

For MBS enrollment, passing the entrance examination conducted by Tribhuvan University is compulsory.

BBS Eligibility
Candidates applying for the BBS program must have successfully completed 10+2 in business or commerce, or an equivalent course from a Higher Secondary School Board, Tribhuvan University, or another university or board recognized by Tribhuvan University. Candidates must also meet other entry requirements or criteria prescribed by the Faculty Board or campus.
MBS Eligibility
Students applying for the MBS course must have successfully completed the BBS program or a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from Tribhuvan University or another university recognized by Tribhuvan University.
