Overview
School of Medical Sciences (SMS) was established in 2004 and it is located in Banasthali, Kathmandu, Nepal. SMS is affiliated to the Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) and has been involved in basic health education to keen students. It started the health education from its three years’ course of Diploma in Pharmacy (DPH). After few years, certificate in medical laboratory technology (CMLT) was launched and afterward TSLC Lab Assistant Program. Two new programs: Diploma in physiotherapy and civil engineering are in the pipeline.
A phrase “morning shows a day” is always true for SMS because from the beginning, SMS has shown an persistent success in CTEVT results and till now it occupies its rank each year continuously. ‘SMS’ has set specific objectives and planned activities for achieving excellence in all spheres of technical health education.
