Electrical Sub Overseer provides a shorter technical study route within the electrical engineering stream at Central Engineering College. The college runs the program under CTEVT affiliation and identifies it separately from its three-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
The 15-month duration places the program at pre-diploma level rather than within the college's diploma or bachelor-level engineering programs. Students considering electrical technical education at the college can therefore distinguish this course by its level, duration, and 40-seat intake.
For students looking at a longer CTEVT electrical program at the same institution, the college also offers the Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Central Engineering College has laboratory facilities for its technical programs, along with classrooms and library services. Its broader academic activities include seminars, workshops, guest lecture sessions, excursions, tours, and field visits.
These facilities form the institutional setting in which the Electrical Sub Overseer program is offered. For a pre-diploma technical course, the college environment places students within the same engineering-focused institution that also runs diploma and bachelor-level programs.
Electrical education at Central Engineering College is offered at more than one academic level. Electrical Sub Overseer is the pre-diploma option with 40 seats, while Diploma in Electrical Engineering is available as a three-year CTEVT program. The college also offers Bachelor of Electrical Engineering under Purbanchal University.
This structure allows the Electrical Sub Overseer course to be understood as the college's shorter pre-diploma pathway in the electrical field rather than as a diploma or bachelor's degree.
Central Engineering College is based in Janakpurdham-8, Dhanusa, Madhesh Province. Its facilities include laboratories, classrooms, and a library, while field visits and other academic activities are also part of the college environment.
