Teaching practice is included in the fourth year as a 100-mark component. It allows students to apply subject knowledge, teaching methods, classroom planning, and educational principles in a practical setting.

Applicants must have completed Grade 12, the Higher Secondary Education Examination, Tribhuvan University’s Proficiency Certificate Level, or an equivalent qualification.

Applicants need Grade 12 or PCL with Nepali as a major subject carrying at least 200 marks.

At least 50 percent marks in General English
At least 50 percent marks in an entrance examination conducted by the concerned department
Applicants may qualify through a background in Health and Physical Education or related subjects such as Science, Population, Home Science, Nursing, or other accepted subjects. Candidates without a Health and Physical Education background must pass a physical fitness-related entrance test conducted by the concerned department.
