Teaching Practice and Learning Focus
Teaching practice is completed during the fourth year. It allows students to connect their study of educational foundations, curriculum, evaluation, subject content, and teaching methods with classroom practice.
The major and minor structure gives students sustained academic study in two teaching areas. Depending on the selected specialization, students study subject content, teaching methods, research, assessment, educational technology, and discipline-specific courses.
The curriculum also includes courses such as Academic Writing, Statistics and Data Analysis, Basic Research, Methods of Teaching, Seminar and Projects, and Research Methodology within relevant specialization areas.
Who May Consider This Program?
The B.Ed. may suit students interested in education, teaching, subject-based academic study, curriculum, classroom learning, and educational research.
