The normal duration is two years, divided into four semesters of six months each. Rajarshi Janak University requires students to complete all MBA course requirements within six years from the date of initial enrollment.

Semester III includes Business Environment and Strategic Management, Operation Management, Business and Corporate Laws, Entrepreneurship, one specialization course, one elective, and the 3-credit Attachment (Internship).
Semester IV includes Business Research Methods, Business Ethics and Corporate Responsibility, two specialization courses, an elective, Seminar in Specialization Area, and the 3-credit Graduate Research Project (Dissertation).
