Course Structure
The BBS program follows the four-year annual structure of Tribhuvan University, Faculty of Management. The curriculum includes 19 courses carrying 1950 marks and a final project report of 50 marks.
The first year includes Business English, Business Statistics, Microeconomics for Business, Financial Accounting and Analysis, and Principles of Management.
The second year includes Business Communication, Macroeconomics for Business, Cost and Management Accounting, Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management, and Fundamentals of Financial Management.
The third year includes Business Law, Foundation of Financial Systems, Business Environment and Strategy, Taxation in Nepal, and Fundamentals of Marketing.
The fourth year includes Entrepreneurship, three concentration-area courses, Business Research Methods, and Final Project. Concentration areas are offered in Accounting, Finance, Management, and Marketing.
Eligibility
Applicants for BBS must have successfully completed 10+2 in business or commerce, or an equivalent course from a Higher Secondary School Board, Tribhuvan University, or another university or board recognized by Tribhuvan University.
Applicants must also satisfy any other entry requirements or criteria prescribed by the Faculty Board or the campus.
Admission Process
Admission to the BBS program follows Tribhuvan University, Faculty of Management, and campus regulations. Eligible applicants submit the prescribed application form with required academic documents after the admission notice is issued.
Selection and enrollment follow the applicable rules of Tribhuvan University and the campus. Academic registration, examinations, and results are managed under TU rules, guidelines, and the applicable academic calendar.
Examination and Evaluation
BBS at Panchadewal Campus follows the annual examination system of Tribhuvan University. Final evaluation is conducted through annual examinations by the Office of the Controller of Examinations, Tribhuvan University.
Students must meet the required academic conditions to appear in annual examinations. The TU BBS curriculum requires students to pass theoretical, practical, and project-work components separately where such components apply.
Final Project Work
Final project work is a required academic component in the fourth year. Students complete fieldwork, prepare a project report in the prescribed format, and submit it for evaluation.
The final project connects BBS study with organizational observation, research writing, and presentation. Evaluation is completed through internal and external assessment procedures under the concerned campus or college research process.
