The Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) at Phulbari Campus is a four-year bachelor’s degree conducted under the Faculty of Management, Tribhuvan University. Phulbari Campus is a community-based institution located in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City–18, Kailali.

The BBS program is designed to provide students with conceptual knowledge of business administration and practical skills related to organizational management. Its curriculum covers the major functional areas of business while allowing students to develop focused knowledge in one concentration area during the final year.
The program also develops a foundation for further management studies, research, teaching, consultancy, entrepreneurship, and organizational work. Candidates applying for admission must have completed 10+2 in business or commerce, or an equivalent qualification from a board or university recognized by Tribhuvan University. Applicants must also meet any additional entry requirements prescribed by the Faculty Board or Phulbari Campus.
The BBS program extends across four academic years. Each year carries 500 marks, giving the academic program a total of 2,000 marks, including the 50-mark final project.

Students select a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Management, or Marketing. The full graduation requirement consists of 19 courses carrying 1,950 marks and a final project report carrying 50 marks.
Teaching methods may include classroom lectures, group discussions, problem-solving exercises, guest lectures, practical activities, case-based learning, and project work. These methods connect business concepts with organizational practices in business, industry, and government.
Final evaluation takes place through annual examinations conducted by the Office of the Controller of Examinations, Tribhuvan University. Students require at least 70 percent attendance in the classes held to qualify for the annual examinations. Theory, practical, and project components must be passed separately where applicable.
Final project work is an academic requirement in the fourth year. Students undertake fieldwork in an organization for four weeks and prepare a report in the format prescribed by the Faculty of Management.
The project may include a classroom or faculty presentation. Internal and external examiners evaluate the report, and the concerned campus research committee conducts the final viva voce.
Phulbari Campus supports BBS students through a library, computer laboratory, free Wi-Fi, internal examinations, assessment and feedback, academic orientation, scholarships, educational tours, and extracurricular activities. The campus also uses participatory practices such as group work, presentations, case studies, and project activities.
BBS graduates may pursue organizational roles connected with accounting, finance, marketing, management, administration, business operations, and entrepreneurship.
