Eligibility
Eligibility: Students with Higher Secondary Education Examination Pass Certificate, Proficiency Certificate Level of Tribhuvan University, or an equivalent Grade 12 qualification are eligible for admission to the B.Ed. program. Subject-specific requirements apply for different specialization areas.
For Nepali Education, students need HSE, Grade 12, or PCL with Nepali major carrying at least 200 marks. For English Education, students need HSE, Grade 12, or PCL with English or Linguistics major, or 50% marks in General English, or the required marks in the entrance examination conducted by the respective department of the campus.
For Mathematics Education, students need HSE, Grade 12, or PCL with Mathematics major carrying at least 200 marks. For Science Education, students need Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with at least 100 full marks in each subject. Geography Education, Economics Education, Political Science Education, and History Education are open to students who have passed HSE, Grade 12, PCL, or equivalent from any faculty.
