7th Nepal Cultural International Film Festival to Be Held
The seventh edition of the “Nepal Cultural International Film Festival” will be organized under the management of the Nepal Culture and Film Center.
The festival will be held from 2082 Magh 16 to 18 at the Film Development Board in Chabahil, the Nepal Tourism Board in Bhrikutimandap, and the Nepal Police Club. A total of 85 films from 39 countries will be screened during the festival.
According to the organizers, the festival has been held continuously for the past seven years in Kathmandu with the objective of promoting cultural, social, and creative films from around the world. They said it is increasingly being established as one of Nepal’s prestigious international film festivals.
This year, more than 700 films were received from over 75 countries, and the selected films from those submissions will be screened at the festival.
