Best Airlines Awards Nepal (BAAN) 2022 is going to be organized for the first time in Nepal. Appreciating the contribution of the aviation sector to Nepali tourism, with the intention of introducing Nepal to the world, the Best Airlines Award program has been organized in Kathmandu on December 13.
On Wednesday, a press conference was held at Hotel Hyatt Place. The award will be given in a total of 16 categories, only 3 have been allocated for Nepali airlines, while 11 have been allocated for airlines operating international flights through Nepal. The remaining 2 awards will be given to the best from various partners who play a role in air safety and facilitation, according to the organizer.
The jury of this award, which will be determined based on public opinion and the decision of the jury, which will be broadcasted through various channels, includes Shekhar Golcha, President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Ambika Shrestha, President of Hotel Dwarika and Honorary Consul of Spain for Nepal, Srijana Rana, President of Hotel Association Nepal (HAN), Pravin Bahadur Pandey, president of School Club of Kathmandu, CN Pandey, former president of Nepal Association of Tour & Travel Agents (NATTA), Bibhuti Chand Thakur is the president of PATA Nepal Chapter.
Similarly, Aviation Museum Chief Executive Officer Ved Upreti, Kantipur Media Group Chief Executive Officer Mahesh Swaran, Lead Nepal Inc. President Anilkeshari Shah, CG Holdings President Arun Chaudhary, and Nepal Non-Resident Association Founder President Upendra Mahato are also jury members.
Hotel Hyatt Place is the co-organizer of the Best Airlines Award Nepal (BAAN) event, while Nepal Tourism Board and other companies are the title sponsors.
