
Youth Short Film Competition Dhangadhi Concludes Successfully
The grand finale of the Youth Short Film Competition, held in Dhangadhi to promote creativity and film literacy in Sudurpashchim Province, concluded with vibrant participation.
Organized by Forty Ten Pvt. Ltd. and sponsored primarily by SPA College Dhangadhi, the event saw aspiring young creators from the region present their talents in storytelling, cinematography, direction, and editing.
In a region where resources and platforms for filmmaking are limited, this competition became a beacon of hope for young talent. It not only offered guidance for beginning a professional journey in film literature but also provided scholarships, recognition, and creative opportunities.
Competition Winners
Among the finalists, ‘Terms and Conditions’, directed by Himanshu Bhatt, secured first place. He was awarded:

Acting Excellence Award
The Special Scholarship Award for Outstanding Acting was presented to Roz Bogati, who received a full scholarship from Actors Hub Kathmandu. She can utilize the scholarship at her convenience.
Performances and Film Screenings
The event also featured a group dance to the national anthem by students of Brightway Public School, along with musical performances by Naveen Mahara and Bikram Parki, adding extra energy to the program.
A special screening of the film ‘The Great Mukhiya’, directed by Sanjok Rasaili, along with a showcase of the top five films and interactive sessions, engaged and captivated the audience.

The chief guest was Dr. T.N. Joshi, Vice-Chancellor of Sudurpashchim Academy of Literature and Culture. Other distinguished attendees included Jhankar Rawal, Director of NHRC Sudurpashchim Province, and Yograj Gautam, Campus Chief of SPA College.
The jury panel featured actor and CEO of Actors Hub Academy Sanjok Rasaili and actor Ramesh Bhattarai (Arkes).
