
Kathmandu University (KU), located in Dhulikhel, Kavrepalanchok, is hosting the second phase of its 30th Convocation Ceremony. A total of 1,129 students are scheduled to graduate in this phase.
The event will be held on Friday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister and Chancellor KP Sharma Oli, as announced in a press conference organized by the university.
Chief Guest and Dignitaries
According to the briefing, the convocation will feature Dr. Brendan Carr, CEO of Mount Sinai Health Systems, USA, as the chief guest.
The ceremony will also be attended by Raghuji Pant, Minister for Education, Science and Technology and Pro-Chancellor of KU.

As per KU Spokesperson Ekkumaya Pun, graduates in this phase are from various schools under the university:

Gender and International Representation
Among the graduates, 50.93% are male and 49.07% are female. Additionally, 118 international students from Bhutan, India, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives will also graduate in this convocation.

With this second phase of the 30th Convocation, Kathmandu University’s total number of graduates has reached 47,831. Of these, 5,660 are international students.
