Call for Proposals for "Baliyo Ghar" TV and Radio Programs:

National Society for Earthquake Technology-Nepal (NSET) is implementing a 5-year "Baliyo Ghar" program to contribute to safer reconstruction in Nepal with the funding support from United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Baliyo Ghar Program is focused in different municipalities and rural municipalities of Kathmandu, Dolakha, Nuwakot and Dhading districts. Regular TV and Radio Programs have been an effective tool for awareness raising and very interactive platform for learning and sharing on reconstruction process and practices.

Under a 4th year of Baliyo Ghar implementation, NSET calls proposals from the interested production agencies to produce regular Baliyo Ghar TV program and PSAs in collaboration with NSET on promoting disaster resilient reconstruction in Nepal and for documentation of all the practices and efforts done during 3 years of program implementation. NSET plans to produce weekly 30min. TV magazine & Broadcast from at least 2 national television channels.

NSET also calls proposals from the interested radio stations from Dolakha, Nuwakot and Dhading districts and Kathmandu valley to produce and broadcast regular Baliyo Ghar Radio Magazine and PSAs in collaboration with NSET on promoting disaster resilient reconstruction in Nepal. NSET plans to broadcast radio magazine and PSAs from at least 5 radio stations.

Interested Radio broadcasters and TV program production teams should submit sealed documents addressed to Executive Director, NSET and post to the following address or mail separate documents to [email protected] before 5:30 PM Sep 20, 2018.
