Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City Announces Free Residential Skills Training 2026

Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City in Kailali district has invited applications for free residential vocational skills training in various trades at Dhangadhi Vocational School, operated in collaboration with the Nepal Youth Foundation.

The Office of the Municipal Executive (Employment Promotion Section) published the notice on 2083/07/10, inviting interested young people to apply for the training programs.

According to the notice, candidates interested in participating in the training must submit their applications by Kartik 30, 2083 BS. Training for selected participants will begin on Mangsir 6, 2083 BS.

Training Programs, Duration, and Available Seats

The total duration of each training program will be four months, consisting of three months of training and one month of On-the-Job Training (OJT).

1. Assistant Plumber Training

• Training Program: Assistant Plumber

• Training Hours: 390 hours

• Required Participants: 25

• Total Duration: 4 months, including 1 month of OJT

2. Building Electrician Training

• Training Program: Building Electrician

• Training Hours: 390 hours

• Required Participants: 25

• Total Duration: 4 months, including 1 month of OJT

3. Assistant Welder Training

• Training Program: Assistant Welder

• Training Hours: 390 hours

• Required Participants: 25

• Total Duration: 4 months, including 1 month of OJT

Minimum Eligibility Criteria and Selection Process

Candidates interested in participating in the free residential vocational training programs must meet the following requirements:

• Age Limit: Applicants must have completed 18 years of age and must not have exceeded 35 years.

• Employment Status: Applicants must be unemployed.

• Willingness to Work: Applicants must be interested in working in the same occupational field after completing the training.

• Selection Process: Interviews for candidate selection may also be conducted over the telephone.
