St. Xavier’s College National Conference on Materials, Plasma and Space Science
Kathmandu — The Department of Physics at St. Xavier’s College, Maitighar, Kathmandu, is set to organize a two-day national conference titled “Unified Horizons: National Conference on Materials, Plasma, and Space Science” on June 18 and 19, 2026.
The conference will be held from 09:00 AM to 04:00 PM at St. Xavier’s College, Maitighar, Kathmandu. Researchers, faculty members, students, and professionals have been invited to participate.
According to the notice, the conference aims to connect experts and enthusiasts from across Nepal in the fields of materials, plasma, and space science, with a focus on research, collaboration, and interdisciplinary research approaches.

Abstract Submission
Presenters must submit a one-page abstract of up to 300 words, including 4–5 keywords. Abstracts can be submitted through the link provided in the registration details.
Submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed and compiled in the conference proceedings volume. The notice states that interested presenters may publish their papers in the SXC journal listed on NepJOL.

Registration is open. The fees are as follows:
Participants from St. Xavier’s College: Rs. 400/- per person
Participants outside St. Xavier’s College: Rs. 500/- per person

Special Support
For presenters only, 20 selected presenters from outside Kathmandu Valley will receive a full registration refund, 50% of travel cost or a maximum of Rs. 1,000 — whichever is lower — and a daily allowance of Rs. 500.
Paper presentation is not mandatory to participate in the conference. Participants may also register as delegates.
