Texas Bytes Festival 2025 Held at Texas International College

Texas Bytes Festival 2025 Celebrated at Texas College

The students of the Bachelor in Hotel Management (BHM) program at Texas College, Chabahil, Kathmandu, successfully organized the ‘Texas Bytes Festival – Youth Vibes 2025’.

This vibrant event was specially designed for young students, particularly those who had recently completed their Plus Two education. The festival saw enthusiastic participation from the youth community.

The event featured food stalls showcasing a variety of dishes prepared by BHM students themselves, reflecting their hands-on culinary skills. Alongside, lively musical performances created an exciting atmosphere.

Several popular music bands performed during the festival. The highlight of the day was a live performance by the much-loved band ‘The Elements’, which kept the crowd energized.

Shyam Sundar Shrestha, Campus Chief of Texas International College, shared his thoughts:
“Our aim isn’t just to provide textbook knowledge. We want our students to grow through practical experiences as well. Events like this help build teamwork, cultural understanding, and entrepreneurial thinking.”

Supporting Student Growth in All Areas

Shrestha added that such events are not just about fun. They play a valuable role in improving students’ mental well-being, building social connections, and shaping their future careers.

“Many students walk away from events like this with fresh inspiration—whether it’s for a school project or discovering something new they enjoy,” he explained.

He believes that cultural and musical festivals like these help students break away from academic stress while encouraging social engagement, creativity, and the joy of live music.

Exploring Career Possibilities

He also noted that events like this open doors for students to explore careers in music, event planning, and hospitality management.

Texas College has a strong track record of organizing similar events. The college says such programs provide students with meaningful opportunities to build creativity, confidence, and a sense of community involvement.
