Tribhuvan University 46th Convocation Ceremony Programs Details:

Tribhuvan University, Office of the Controller of Examinations (TU OCE), Balkhu: As the 46th Convocation Ceremony of Tribhuvan University will be held on Monday, 6th Poush, 2077, at the premises of Tribhuvan University, Examination Control Office, Balkhu. This notice has been published for the information of all concerned students.

Due to the global outbreak of COVID-19, only students who have received Doctorate, M.Phil, and Convocation Medal / Award at this year's Convocation will be allowed to participate in the Convocation.

In the case of other students, their respective gowns/scarves/hats can be taken from the respective counter of this office within the stipulated time and date and their certificates can be obtained from the counter where the certificate will be distributed from the day after the graduation ceremony.

The detailed program for the students who / will not attend the graduation ceremony will be as follows:

Gown / scarf / hat Distribution:

(A) Only from 29th of Mangsir 2077 to 5th of Poush (will be distributed evenly on holidays).

(B) Hours: 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (social distance maintained).

(C) Location: TU Office of the Controller of Examinations (TU OCE), Balkhu.

(D) In order to get a gown/scarf/hat at the graduation ceremony, the student must bring the gown collection form obtained while filling up the online form.

(E) Dress: Students attending the graduation ceremony must wear the gown/scarf/hat provided by TU.

Certificate distribution:

(A) Certificate Distribution will be done from TUOCE Balkh Certificate Distribution Counters from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm on 2077 Poush from 10:30 am to 23:30 pm. The distribution will be made only from the concerned branch after that period.

(B) In order to get the certificate, it is mandatory to bring a ceremony slip received while filling the online form.

Gowns / Scarves / Hats and Deposited Amount Refunds:

(A) Gown / Scarf Return Date: 7th Poush 2077 to 15th Poush (excluding holidays)

(B) From the TU Office of the Controller of Examinations (TU OCE), from Balkhu from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm, the deposit amount will be refunded through the bank account mentioned in the online form for the graduation ceremony.

(C) The deposit and guardian fee will be refunded only after the gown received by filling the online form is returned along with the gown and scarf/hat. If the gown and scarf/hat are lost, if there is any loss, or if one of the three is lost or not returned, the price will be deducted as per the rules. However, the deposit and guardian fees of the students who did not wear gowns, scarves/hats will be fully refunded.

(D) In order to get the deposit back, it is mandatory to submit the gown return form obtained while filling the online form. Otherwise, the deposit and other amounts will not be refunded.

(E) Students who do not return the gown/scarf/hat within the above date will be reimbursed the deposit amount after deducting the late fee. Also, for students who have filled the form but are not wearing a gown/scarf/hat, there will be a delay fee to get their deposit back.

Date of return of deposit for gown/scarf/hat for a late fee:

  • From 2077/9/16 to 2077/9/20 - Rs. 25
  • From 2077/9/21 to 2077/9/25 - Rs. 50
  • From 2077/9/26 to 2077/10/2 - Rs. 100
  • From 2077/10/3 to 2077/10/10 - Rs. 300

If the deposit is not taken even within the above date, the deposit amount will automatically lapse.
