CTEVT Study Continuation Application (Diploma/Certificate)
Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Office of the Controller of Examinations, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, Urgent notice regarding submission of applications for study continuity at Diploma and Certificate levels.
Students registered with the Council who, for specific reasons, discontinued studies in various academic programs conducted at constituent, partnership, and community schools under technical education programs, and at privately affiliated/approved institutions at the Diploma and Certificate levels, may apply for study continuity.
Applications must clearly state valid reasons and be submitted to the Office of the Controller of Examinations within office hours by 2082/07/26, Wednesday, strictly fulfilling the stipulated conditions and attaching the required documents as stated below. This notice is issued as per the decision of the Examination Committee dated 2082/06/27.
Important: Applications lacking the required attachments, or received after the final date, will not be processed.
Regarding Study Continuation
(a) A student registered with the Council who discontinued studies due to special reasons may submit a clear, reasoned application for approval of study continuity in the same program within the time limit set by the curriculum. If a revised curriculum has already been implemented, no recommendation will be made.
(b) Examinees who fail in annual or semester examinations of one academic session are granted opportunities for re-examination only up to three years from the date of the final examination. Approval for study continuity will be provided only after submitting an undertaking to complete all examinations within that period.
(c) Copy of the registration card maintained with the Council.
(d) Agreement letter from the institution granting study continuity indicating the opened quota (scholarship or full-fee).
(e) Applications for study continuity can be submitted only to the same institution where the study was discontinued.
(f) A letter from the institution applied to for study continuity confirming a vacant quota, and the cumulative Internal Assessment Sheet of the last year/semester certified by the institution, must be submitted.
(g) Institutions shall recommend study continuity only within the number of vacant quotas available at their institution.
(h) The consent letter for study continuity must be obtained from the Registration Section of the Office of the Controller of Examinations. If an institution conducts teaching without obtaining the consent letter, the candidate will not be allowed to sit in the final examination, and the responsibility will rest with the institution.
(i) Students who fail the internal assessment examination will not be granted consent for study continuity.
