CTEVT Pre-Diploma Special Chance Exam Routine 2083

CTEVT Notice

The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Office of the Controller of Examinations, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has published the examination schedule for the special chance (partial) examination of different pre-diploma programs.

  • Level: Pre-Diploma, formerly Technical SLC

  • Examination time: 7:00 AM onwards

  • Examination dates: 2083/05/14 to 2083/05/25

  • Examination centres: To be published one week before the examinations begin

According to notices published in the Gorkhapatra National Daily on 2082/09/24 and 2082/10/27, the examination applies to candidates from private, constituent, partnership and community institutions conducting technical education who:

  • were registered up to the academic session 2076/077 (2019 AD);

  • completed their training within the period prescribed by the curriculum;

  • have not yet passed the required examinations; and

  • submitted the examination application form.

Important Instructions for Examinees and Institutions

  1. Candidates who remain absent from an examination conducted according to the above schedule will not receive another examination arrangement.

  2. The examination will not be postponed if an unexpected public holiday is declared without prior notice from the council.

  3. Mobile phones are not permitted inside the examination hall.

  4. Practical examinations will be conducted at the respective educational institutions after the theoretical examinations are completed. Each institution must prepare the practical examination schedule, obtain approval from the concerned CTEVT provincial office and conduct the examination accordingly.

  5. If any examination dates or subjects overlap, or if any examination has been omitted from the schedule, the concerned party must contact the Office of the Controller of Examinations within seven days from the publication date of the notice.

  6. Candidates who missed the deadline to submit application forms for the special chance partial examination under the notices published on 2082/09/24 and 2082/10/27 may submit their forms with a late fee from 2083/04/07 to 2083/04/11 through their respective institutions.

    For applications submitted through the online system, the institution must complete the entry in the ITMS online system on the same day.

    The late fee must be deposited in the bank on 2083/04/12, and the candidates’ application forms must be submitted to the concerned provincial office.

  7. The respective educational institutions must evaluate candidates who have not passed OJT and submit their OJT evaluations to the concerned CTEVT provincial office by 2083/04/12.
