CTEVT Publishes Special Chance (Partial) Exam Form Notice 2082

CTEVT, Examination Control Office, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, Urgent Notice on Filling the Application Form for the Special Chance (Partial) Examination

As per the decision of the Examination Committee dated 2082-10-15 (BS) to publish a revised notice in reference to the notice published by the Examination Control Office of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) dated 2082-08-24 (BS), this notice is published for the information of all concerned.

Under the Council’s constituent, partnership, community school, and private-level teaching institutions, a Special Chance (Partial)  Examination will be conducted for eligible students as follows:

• Diploma level (semester examination system): Students registered up to academic session 2074/075 (2017 AD) who failed the final examinations of:

  • First Year (First Semester/Second Semester)

  • Second Year (First Semester/Second Semester)

  • Third Year (First Semester/Second Semester)

• Diploma level (annual examination system): Students registered up to academic session 2074/075 (2017 AD) who failed the final examinations of various programs in:

  • First Year, Second Year, and Third Year

• Pre-diploma level: Students registered up to academic session 2076/077 (2016/2019 AD) who appeared for examinations within the time period specified by the curriculum and failed

Accordingly, the concerned teaching institutions must mandatorily have students fill out the examination application forms and submit them to the Council’s respective Provincial Offices by completing ITMS Online Entry within the following deadlines:

• Regular fee: Up to 2082-11-29 (BS)

• Late fee: From 2082-12-07 to 2082-12-08 (BS)

It is further informed that students of teaching institutions that do not meet the conditions below, and institutions that do not submit application forms within the specified time, will not be allowed to participate in the examination.

Conditions

1. For diploma/certificate level candidates:

   • Examination fee for one theoretical or practical subject: NPR 300

   • For each additional theoretical or practical subject: NPR 150

   • Late fee per student: double the prescribed fee

2. For pre-diploma level candidates:

   • Examination fee for one theoretical or practical subject: NPR 200

   • For each additional theoretical or practical subject: NPR 150

   • Late fee per student: double the prescribed fee

3. Along with the examination application form, one certified printed copy of the consolidated form must be compulsorily submitted to the Provincial Office.

4. Only candidates who have passed the internal assessment examination will be allowed to appear in the final examination. If candidates who are unsuccessful (NQ) in the internal assessment examination appear in the examination by indicating failed subjects, that examination will be automatically cancelled. One certified printed copy of the internal assessment record must be compulsorily attached.

5. Since the practical examination will be conducted at the respective teaching institution, the examination schedule must be approved by the concerned Provincial Office and conducted accordingly.

6. Application forms will not be accepted individually. The forms must be submitted through the concerned teaching institution.

7. As per the special chance examination application notice published by this office on 2082-08-24 (BS), the concerned teaching institution must compulsorily make ITMS Online Entry for:

   • Diploma/certificate level candidates with registration maintained in 2016 and 2017, and

   • Pre-diploma level candidates with registration maintained in 2019 (2076/077)

   For candidates other than those mentioned above, consolidated details must be filled compulsorily as per the Excel Sheet placed on the website and submitted to the concerned Provincial Office.

8. Candidates must submit the marksheet or mark ledger of the failed subject(s) for which they will appear in the examination.

9. Teaching institutions must compulsorily submit examination application forms to the Council’s respective Provincial Offices:

   • Within 2082 Falgun 29 (BS) under the regular fee, and

   • Within 2082 Chaitra 1–8 (BS) under the late fee

   No action will be taken on application forms received after the deadline.

10. The last date for bank deposit of the regular fee is 2082-12-01 (BS), and the last date for bank deposit of the late fee is 2082-12-09 (BS). On the same day, the institution must upload the bank voucher in ITMS Online.

11. Teaching institutions must deposit the amount in the following bank accounts of the concerned Council Provincial Offices:

12. If a teaching institution has been closed for any reason, the student must submit the examination application form to the concerned Council Provincial Office by following the process mentioned in the conditions.
