The Government of Nepal's Ministry of Labour, Employment, and Social Security has announced critical information regarding the upcoming Korean Language Examination for the manufacturing sector (EPS-TOPIK, 2023). This examination is a key step for candidates seeking employment opportunities in Korea through the Employment Permit System (EPS).

Examination Schedule

• Date and Time: The examination is scheduled to start on February 19, 2024, corresponding to the Nepali date 2080/11/7. Candidates are advised to refer to the attached table for their specific examination date and time, based on their Application Number (Registration Number).
• Location: The exam will be held at the National Vocational Training Institute, located in the Bhainsepati Premises, UBT Building, Lalitpur.

Important Instructions for Candidates

• Pre-Examination Requirements: Candidates must arrive at the examination center two hours before their scheduled exam time for Bio-Metric verification.
• Mandatory Documents: A full passport and admit card are required to sit for the examination. Failure to present these documents will result in disqualification.
• Prohibited Items: Mobile phones, electronic dictionaries, smartwatches, and any other electronic communication devices are not allowed inside the examination hall.
• Consequences of Misconduct: Engaging in cheating, copying, or any other form of dishonest behavior will lead to the cancellation of the examination. Offenders may be barred from participating in future examinations for up to four years.
• Orientation and Bio-Metric Verification: An orientation session will take place one hour before the exam. Candidates must undergo Bio-Metric verification both one day prior at the EPS office in Gwarko and on the examination day at the Bio-Metric Examination Center in Bhainsepati.
