Lok Sewa Aayog Section Officer Exam Center Surkhet: Public Service Commission Launches New Exam Centers in Surkhet

The Central Public Service Commission (PSC), also known as Lok Sewa Aayog, has officially launched its newest set of examination centers in Surkhet. This initiative is specifically aimed at facilitating the process for aspirants vying for the Section Officer, Gazetted Third Class (Non-Technical), and similar positions under Advertisement No. 16699-16705/079-80 (Open/Inclusive).

Guidelines for Aspiring Public Service Exam Candidates

The PSC has set out several key instructions to ensure a seamless examination process for public service candidates:

  • Examination Schedule: Candidates must adhere strictly to the previously released timetable, even in cases of sudden holidays.
  • Admit Card Requirement: Entry into the examination hall is strictly dependent on the presentation of an admit card.
  • Early Arrival: It is recommended that candidates arrive at the examination center at least an hour before the scheduled test time.
  • Prohibited Items: Personal electronic devices such as mobile phones and calculators are strictly prohibited. The only writing instrument allowed is a black ink pen.
  • Identity Verification: All candidates must present their Nepali citizenship certificate or any valid government-issued photo ID.

Safety Measures During Transition Phase

Given the ongoing transition phase, additional precautionary measures have been implemented:

  • Face Masks: It is compulsory for all candidates to wear face masks to be allowed entry into the examination center. Candidates should also bring personal sanitizers and drinking water.
  • Social Distancing: A minimum physical distance of two meters should be maintained at all times.
  • Staff Instructions: Candidates must adhere to all guidelines provided by the examination staff.

Special Provisions for Covid-19 Positive Candidates

The PSC has made separate arrangements for candidates who have tested positive for Covid-19. These candidates must:

  • Apply for Assistant Writers: In accordance with Rule 68 (1) of the Public Service Commission, 2079, candidates requiring assistant writers must submit an application to the office at least 10 days prior to the examination date. The application must include valid reasons and supporting evidence for the request.

By adhering to these guidelines, candidates can ensure a smooth, safe, and efficient examination process.
