This notice is published to inform regular and partial examinees who will participate in the Class 12 annual examination to be conducted in 2083 after studying at affiliated secondary schools/campuses authorized to teach Classes 11 and 12. For partial examinees, only those with registration numbers whose first two digits are 79 (final time), 80, and 81 are eligible.

As mentioned in the annual examination schedule for the academic session 2082/083 issued by the Board, examination fees must be deposited within the end of Poush, 2082.

Examinees who fail to deposit the amount within that period must deposit the amount with a late fee by Magh 15, 2082 and fill in the examination application form in the format prescribed by the National Examination Board.

The concerned schools/campuses must collect the forms filled by students and, along with the bank voucher/digital payment proof of the deposited amount, submit the application forms to the concerned office of the National Examination Board by Magh 25, 2082. While filling the examination application form, please do/ensure the following as per the details below.

1. Students applying as Class 12 regular examinees (those whose registration number begins with 81) must have obtained at least grade D in the theoretical component of all subjects of Class 11 (taken through the school in 2082) and grade C in internal assessment/practical. Along with the examination application form, the Class 11 subject registration (registration card) and the Class 11 grade sheet issued by the school (confirming that the prescribed minimum grade has been obtained) must be certified by the Principal and mandatorily attached. In the case of partial examinees, a copy of their previous Class 12 grade sheet must be mandatorily attached. Otherwise, the application form will not be valid.

2. The examination application fee (without late fee) is Rs. 800 (Eight hundred only) per student, or Rs. 1,600 (One thousand six hundred only) per student with late fee, and must be deposited into the National Examination Board’s account.

   For practical examinations conducted by assigning external examiners, the student must pay an additional Rs. 100 (One hundred) per subject. The subjects for which practical fees must be paid are mentioned in point no. 6.

   Out of the practical fee of Rs. 100 (One hundred) per subject, the amount at the rate of Rs. 40 (Forty) per subject must be retained at the concerned school and made available as remuneration for the internal examiner. The remaining amount at the rate of Rs. 60 (Sixty) per subject must be deposited by the end of Poush, 2082, and the bank voucher must be submitted in the name of the concerned office of the National Examination Board.

   Examinees who fail to deposit the practical fee within that period must deposit, with late fee, the amount at the rate of Rs. 120 per subject out of Rs. 200 per subject into the Board’s account by Magh 15, 2082. Forms submitted with vouchers deposited after the prescribed date will not be accepted.

3. The bank voucher within the specified period for which and for the purpose for which the amount is instructed to be deposited may be used only for that same purpose. Bank vouchers of dates other than that will not be accepted.

4. While sending students’ examination application forms, the school must arrange and send them in order based on year and registration number.

5. Students of both regular and partial groups must sit for the examination from the prescribed examination center. Change of examination center will not be permitted.

6. For Class 12 subjects Physics (1022/9132), Biology (2022/9102), Chemistry (3022/9112), Computer Science (4282/9152), and Hotel Management (4402), external examiners will be appointed by the concerned office of the Board and practical examinations will be conducted accordingly.

   Regarding the schedule of these examinations, the Principal of the concerned school must coordinate with the concerned office of the National Examination Board and finalize it by Falgun 29, 2082. The practical examinations must be completed by Chaitra 30, 2082, and the students’ marks must be entered online and both hardcopy and softcopy must be submitted to the concerned office of the Board by Baishakh 15, 2083.

   For subjects other than the five subjects mentioned above, the practical/internal examinations must also be completed within the same period, and they must be submitted to the concerned office of the Board by Baishakh 15, 2083. For those subjects, arrangements for both internal and external examiners must be managed by the school itself.

7. Examinees participating as partial examinees must fill/ensure the application form only through the same school from which they filled the application form and sat for the Class 12 regular examination. If it is found that the form was filled through another school, the examination application form will be cancelled.

8. The application form for Class 12 must be filled only from the same subject and the same group in which the student studied in Class 11. If a different subject or group is selected, that subject will be automatically cancelled.

9. Partial examinees (those whose registration number begins with 79, 80, and 81) must fill the examination application form only for the subject in which they obtained NG (Not Graded) or were absent (Abs). If the internal/practical marks of such examinees are also missing, then in addition to the theoretical subject code, the code of the internal/practical subject must also be mentioned while filling the examination application form. Schools must also conduct internal assessment and send the marks within the prescribed time.

   Students studying as Class 12 regular examinees who wish to participate in the examination by filling a form for an additional subject must attach, along with the application form, the Class 11 grade sheet showing that they studied that same subject as an additional subject in Class 11 as well.

10. The examination application form must be filled by the student themself. The school will be arranged to enter the student’s details online.

For online entry, go to https://exam.neb.gov.np or the Board’s website: www.neb.gov.np and click on Online Exam Form (Class 12), then enter the details as per the obtained information.

Since online entry for regular examinees will be open from Poush 15, 2082 to Magh 25, 2082, all schools are requested to ensure timely online entry of the application form accordingly.

11. As per the Letter Grading Directive, 2078, if a student participates in the annual examination without obtaining the prescribed grade (C) in internal/practical assessment, the student’s examination will be cancelled. Therefore, this notice also informs that internal/practical marks must be entered within the prescribed time and submitted along with the hard copy to the concerned offices of the Board. Schools are also requested to mandatorily send the marks details of partial examinees whose internal assessment marks were missing last year.

12. The fee for the examination application form (the prescribed lump-sum amount per student) can be deposited directly into the Board’s account at Rastriya Banijya Bank through a voucher, or by using the payment gateways available in the system (Connect IPS, e-Sewa, Khalti, IMEPay, RBB mobile banking). In the case of digital payment, proof of payment must also be mandatorily submitted along with the form.

13. The concerned offices of the National Examination Board are requested to inform the schools/campuses within their respective areas and to carry out/ensure the work as per this notice.
